Hot Tub, Glasshouse & Ensuite • Romantic Retreat

Nice and relaxing Positive: Beautiful view out of the spa and lovely glasshouse Negative: Unexpected power outage. Quite a small space inside. Lots of mosquitos but bug spray was provided.

Positive: Nice and tidy. Bathroom was excellent. Spa was nice. It was raining and the host came out and gave us umbrellas which was awesome Negative: No tv in the bedroom. If you wanted to you had to go into the Glasshouse. Which isn't very private as hosts can look down on you. Also no little table or chairs in bedroom if you wanted to eat your takeaways or anything. Pretty much had a bed, bathroom and a little fridge

We had an amazing stay just outside of Auckland! The property is a true little oasis — peaceful, beautifully designed, and surrounded by nature. The glasshouse was such a unique and cozy space to relax in, especially in the evening with all the fairy lights. The hot tub was definitely a highlight — perfect for unwinding under the stars. The bedroom was super comfortable, with everything we needed. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a romantic escape or a quiet retreat close to the city. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Loved my weekend at Te Kawa Tropical Oasis. A beautiful set-up with everything you need and lots of special touches. Lovely to soak in the hot tub on a starry night. Great hosts, clear communication, and give you your privacy during your stay. Highly recommend, a wonderful spot!
